Autumn and Shadow CH 1
"Come on, Summer, you can do it," a voice said. "Just one more push, sweetie."
A mare was foaling, and it was the right season to do so.
Summer, a palomino, was on her final push. Her mate was helping her get out of there.
"Come on, I can see her now," he nickered in excitement.
"Thank you, Titan, for being here today," Summer panted, her body was getting physically exhausted. She would rest later, she decided, after her foal had her first meal.
"I wouldn't miss this for the world. I love you," Titan, a red stallion nickered.
There was silence in the glade that was broken by the mare's loudest whinny.
"She's out! Good girl, Summer." T
